As you can tell, our blog got a little makeover this morning! It was time for some revamping. Unlike other things in our lives that need some revamping...our house...my hair...haha, this one’s free, so it was definitely first priority! The big picture at the top of the page is one of our very favorites from the wedding. I hope to continue to make this place over by adding pictures from our wedding and honeymoon. It’s a work in progress! And unfortunately, our blog is going to stay black and white until I find a better design. I love damask, but I didn’t want to go with red or hot pink accents.(too cliche.) So, instead I stripped it of any color. Which is alright for now. But I am still on the hunt for THE design of the summer. I loved the last design, but that was spring. And its half way through June now, so its time for a change right?
As for our other makeovers, the house is slowly starting to look more like a home and less like two monkeys had a party in it. We got a really cool piece of art/sculpture? to hang up on the wall...one of the few things that we do have! Thanks to Josh&Emily Sykes for the awesome birthday gift card to Pier 1 Imports! :)(will post a picture when I get my camera back from the car! Aaron has it in the car in other words.) And I have cut my hair...well, okay, I did it about a month ago. I needed some change that wasn’t totally look altering, but was noticeable enough...so, I got bangs. Yep, full on Zooey Deschanel/Katy Perry inspired bangs. And surprisingly, I like them. They’re a pain in the butt to fix, but I’m working on it! My next plan is to put something in my hair. Whether it be color(can anyone say copper please?), feathers(I might jump on that bandwagon.), or something crazy, I dunno. I just need some change. My hair is getting quite long though, which I am very excited about. See?

Enough about my hair and the house. We’re going to see Hillsong United tomorrow night in concert! We can’t wait! Its going to be so awesome. AND the best part is...we only had to pay $45 for BOTH of our tickets!
